The 47th Annual National Skeet Shooting Hall of Fame Banquet will be held during the 2016 World Skeet Championships on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio SeaWorld/Westover Hills in San Antonio, Texas. NSSA will induct Kevin Monteleone and Kenneth Keth into its Hall of Fame, NSSA’s highest honor. Monteleone will be honored for his achievements as a shooter, while Keth will receive the Ray Boller Award for sustained service to NSSA. Because they can be pursued successfully and with enjoyment by people of virtually any age or gender, we have the good fortune of memberships from young to old, male and female, novice to world championship levels. Skeet Shooter Lee Staska Passes
Louise Terry reports the sad news that Lee Staska, 72, long-time skeet shooter from Atlanta, GA, died on July 7, 2016 from brain cancer. "Lee was a member of our five-man skeet team from Wolf Creek/Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds during the years when I lived in Georgia from 1986 to 1993," said Terry. "He had a great sense of humor, always wore a smile, and loved life.
