Active NSSA-NSCA members who will graduate from high school this academic year are invited to apply for one of eight $2,500 scholarships that will be awarded to deserving students. Four scholarships will be presented to NSSA members and four to NSCA members. This year, the scholarship program is open not only to students pursuing a four-year degree but also to students attending two-year colleges and technical colleges. Recipients must begin their advanced studies in 2021.
Selection is based on a combination of participation in NSSA-NSCA, academic achievement, citizenship and need. The application process involves writing a short essay, completing an application form, providing grades and a letter of recommendation, and detailing your NSSA-NSCA participation and accomplishments.
The application deadline is March 15, 2021. This will allow us to determine winners in time for presentations by school year-end and to help recipients make financial plans for their college education.
