Update on National Championship Awards
Following the 2017 National Sporting Clays Championship, competitors earning awards were given choices of trophies or gift cards. All award responses received by December 11 were sent to the trophy manufacturer for processing on December 12; those received after that date will be ordered in a second batch following the next deadline of January 22. For the 400+ trophies ordered, the trophy manufacturer must produce the specific trophies, engrave, and ship your trophy to you. Bill McGuire Is 2016 National Champion, NSCA Tour Champion
In what was certainly one of, if not the best week of his shooting career, Bill McGuire capped off a year of exceptional shooting with a National Sporting Clays Championship and practically every major award NSCA offers. On Thursday night, McGuire was inducted into the NSCA Hall of Fame in recognition of his stellar shooting career. Along the way to earning his National Championship three days later, he also won Super Sporting and 5-Stand events, as well as the All-Around HOA for his cumulative scores in the main event, FITASC, K-Kup, and 5-Stand.
