The Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) is partnering with the Kids & Clays Foundation to hold a registered two-day sporting clays charity event at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio. The event will be held Friday and Saturday, July 20-21, during SSSF’s Scholastic Clay Target Program National Championships. When Indiana McDonald's restaurant owners Glenn and Kathy Lubeznik decided to chair a sporting clays tournament in 1999 to raise money for the Chicago Ronald McDonald House, little did they realize at the time how big the fundraising movement would become. They hosted 137 participants and raised $16,000. People had a lot of fun, too. Northbrook Sports Club in Hainesville, Illinois and Kids & Clays Foundation’s Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana chapter invite you to the Big Bang, a registered sporting clays tournament benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
