The Ladies Charity Skeet Classic–originally organized and held in Florida its first 10 years, followed by Memphis for seven years, and then in Virginia for the past five years–lives on and now returns to Memphis and our friends at the Memphis Sport Shooting Association (MSSA). The shoot will be held April 28-30, 2017 with all proceeds from the event will benefiting the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) and their SCTP (shotgun) and SASP (rifle/pistol) youth development programs. For further details on the organization and their programs, visit SSSF’s website at www.sssfonline.org to see the great work being done to introduce today’s youth to the shooting sports while emphasizing and rewarding their scholastic achievements.
This event is a ladies-only shooting weekend offering a novice shotgun clinic with instruction and a fun shoot for beginners on Friday. There will also be registered skeet Doubles (100 targets) on Friday afternoon. Saturday and Sunday will be a 4-gun (400 targets) registered skeet shoot. Saturday and Sunday will also feature an action pistol program open to all ladies. As in years past, the highlight of the weekend will be the special Saturday evening event with dinner, door prizes, raffles, a live auction for all participants, and a few extra side events to shoot for fun.
