If there's a formula for winning an NSCA Regional Championship, Bill McGuire has figured it out. In last week's Northeast Regional Sporting Clays Championship at M&M Sporting Clays, McGuire won his second regional of the year and fifth in just two years, giving him an early edge at his third consecutive NSCA Championship Tour title. USA Sporting Clays Team Prepares to Leave for World English
The USA Sporting Clays Team is preparing to leave for the World English Sporting Championship to be held at one of England's finest shooting grounds, E.J. Churchill. This remarkable festival of shooting will take place June 20-26 in the Buckinghamshire countryside. The full week’s shooting will include the World English Sporting, World Sportrap, Prelim English Sporting, FITASC Sporting, and a range of exciting supporting events. NSCA Mourns Passing of Anne Cherry
The sporting clays community is grieving the loss of a familiar face at the country's most prominent events. Anne Cherry, wife of champion shooter Wendell Cherry, died of pancreatic and liver cancer on June 5. Anne regularly accompanied Wendell at sporting clays tournaments and was well-known among the shooters, their families, club personnel, and the sporting clays industry. Anne was in the hearts and minds of participants at the U.S. Open Sporting Clays Championship, as the PSCA distributed red ribbons to everyone to wear in her honor.
