Congratulations to John Wilkerson of St. Louis, Missouri, winner of the Krieghoff K-80 San Remo shotgun valued at $28,495. USA and Bobby Fowler are World English Sporting Champions
The USA swept the major awards at the 2017 World English Sporting Championship, with Bobby Fowler winning top individual honors as World Champion and USA Sporting Clays Team members winning each concurrent. 917 shooters from 17 countries competed in the event, April 25-30 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas. Fowler and George Digweed entered the Super Final in a tie at 189; followed by Gebben Miles, Bill McGuire, and Ben Husthwaite at 185; and Derrick Mein and 2016 World Champion Anthony Matarese at 184. USASCT Offering Super Schools Following World English
This year's USA Sporting Clays Team Super Schools are getting rave reviews from participants, and for those who haven't yet participated in one, there are two opportunities. The USASCT will offer two Super Schools immediately following the World English Sporting Championship on May 1-2 at the National Shooting Complex -- one that is open to everyone and another that is for ladies only. 2017 NSCA USA Sporting Clays Teams Named
The 2017 USA Sporting Clays Teams have been finalized, and five teams each for Sporting and FITASC have earned the opportunity to represent the U.S. and the NSCA at upcoming international shoots.
