The Ladies Charity Skeet Classic--originally organized and held in Florida its first 10 years, followed by Memphis for seven years, and then in Virginia for the past five years--lives on and now returns to Memphis and our friends at the Memphis Sport Shooting Association (MSSA). Enjoy February in Florida at the Caribbean Classic
Sporting clays shooters are invited to enjoy the great weather in south Florida and attend this year's Caribbean Classic at Indian River Shooting Sports in beautiful Vero Beach, February 8-13. Again this year, Mick and Emma Howells are planning a great shoot at their club with able assistance from Lois Lessing, the MEC traps team, and Gary Bloom, assistant target-setter. High School Seniors: Apply for NSSA-NSCA Scholarships
NSSA-NSCA has increased the number of scholarships being awarded to graduating seniors in 2017, and we've doubled the amount of money to fund the scholarship program. Each organization will award four $2,500 scholarships for a total of eight recipients. Applicants for the 2017 scholarships must be 2017 high school graduates with plans to enter a four-year college program by this fall. They must also be active participants in NSSA or NSCA.
