The National Skeet Shooting Association and its subsidiary, the National Sporting Clays Association, are seeking a Facilities Assistant Manager to join our team. Our headquarters is located in far west San Antonio at the National Shooting Complex where we host multiple corporate and competitive events, including the World Skeet Championships and the National Sporting Clays Championship.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance and repairs to facility
- Manage staff in day-to-day business activities
- Oversee vendors and projects for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines
- Ensure facility is clean and maintained according to company policy
- Build and maintain positive relationships with both employees, vendors, and guests
- Responsible for purchasing, tracking, and receiving supplies and equipment
- Ensure security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of facility management or equivalent experience with increasing responsibility
- Project manager, and logistical planning and implementation skills
- Creativity and innovation to improve existing processes and define new processes
- Ability to take initiative, operate independently, and thrive in fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and verbal skills including ability to build strong relationships
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ideal candidate must demonstrate maturity, have excellent judgment, discretion and problem solving abilities, and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Must be able to work weekends
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, as this position is performed outdoors
- May require moderate level of physical activity, including squatting, bending, and lifting/carrying of heavy items (at least 50 pounds)
- Exposure to high noise levels
