Volunteering Last August, the Oklahoma Gun Club was one of the host clubs for the Zone 6 shoot. Zone 6 has gone to an electronic shoot, and each state has at least one club hosting the shoot. Each of the three days, there were several volunteers that came and helped the shoot run smoothly. We had loaders, water bearers, lunch makers and others that were sweeping the stations between squads. NSSA-NSCA Receives Funding Through PPP
The NSSA-NSCA is committed to continuing to provide timely, quality service to all of our members and member clubs through these challenging times. To that end, the NSSA-NSCA has applied for and received funding through the Payroll Protection Program (PPP) offered by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to provide resources that will be used to maintain staffing so that we can do just that. Skeet Instructors During the last several years I've had the honor and privilege of being one of the NSSA Zone Instructors. I was able to work with and learn many of the finer nuances of coaching shooters from the NSSA Chief Instructor, Ralph Aaron, as well as from the many other instructors of all levels that I met and worked with in San Antonio and in the classes I taught here in the NSSA Zone 6. Pattern Percentage I was just looking at pictures of some of the young shooters I've had the privilege of helping learn the shotgun sports. I have a "Rogues' Gallery" in my shop where I have these pictures, so I see them often. During the time I worked with them and others, we developed methods that have helped most of my students learn more about shotgun sports.
