American shooters have dominated the world stage yet again with new World Championships for both individuals and teams at the 2016 World FITASC Sporting Championships in Italy. Anthony Matarese Brings World Championship to USA
Anthony Matarese Jr. has become the first American ever to win the World English Sporting Championship, taking the individual Gold Medal last week on the E.J. Churchill Shooting Grounds in England. Matarese finished the regulation main event with a three-target lead and held the margin through the six-man super final shoot-off to earn the World Championship. Mike Wilgus also qualified for the super final and finished the competition sixth overall. Election for Executive Committee and Officers
The next stage of the 2016 NSSA election process will be selection of Zone Committeemen and Officers - President, Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer. Their term will begin January 1, 2017, and end December 31, 2018. Zone Committeemen Election: Along with officers and immediate past president, Zone Committeemen comprise the NSSA Executive Committee. Only current Directors (those serving for the 2015-2016 term) may vote for Zone Committeemen and do so only for their respective Zones. Radulovich Prevails at Muddy U.S. Open
Rain and mud may have been the most discussed topics at the U.S. Open Sporting Clays Championship at Caney Creek Shooting Sports, but David Radulovich would disagree that almost a foot of rain was the most exciting thing that happened in Teague, Texas last week. McGuire Wins His Second 2016 Regional at Northeast
If there's a formula for winning an NSCA Regional Championship, Bill McGuire has figured it out. In last week's Northeast Regional Sporting Clays Championship at M&M Sporting Clays, McGuire won his second regional of the year and fifth in just two years, giving him an early edge at his third consecutive NSCA Championship Tour title.
