Longtime NSSA member and supporter William “Bill” Straub passed away June 27, 2021. Bill was born in 1943 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and is survived by his fiancé, Debra Meade, and his son William “Billy” Straub and Billy’s wife Amber. Having lived in Pennsylvania all of his life, Bill grew to enjoy the many outdoor activities the state has to offer. In his early adult years, Bill was active in the Explorer’s Club of Pittsburgh, participating in mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and other activities. The family of NSCA member James Mark "Jamie" Gerstenkorn has informed us he passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2021, after a long and remarkable battle with cancer. He was an avid sporting clays competitor and traveled to San Antonio to participate in the National Sporting Clays Championship for 13 years. He also loved competing in barbecue competitions and spending time cheering for the Oklahoma Sooners and the Green Bay Packers. Jamie was born on July 21, 1966, in Wichita. S. Hallock du Pont, Jr., of Vero Beach, Florida, and Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021, after a lengthy illness. "Hal," to all who knew him, lived life to its very fullest, passionate about each and every one of his endeavors. NSSA-NSCA member Ray L. Harding of King George, Virginia, passed away on November 15, 2020. Ray left behind many friends who will miss him. He was involved in skeet and sporting clays shooting for more than 50 years, being top in his class for many years. During this time, he served on the Board of Directors of the Fredericksburg Rod and Gun Club, serving as president for several years and as skeet chairman. Long-time skeet shooter and NSSA Hall of Fame member Allen "Al" Walker Morrison, Sr., 88, of Newberry, South Carolina, died Monday, August 31. Al was a retired United States Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict, and following his retirement from the military worked as a professional shooter with Hal duPont.
